Smuggler’s Cove Recipe Book
For less than the price of 2 cocktails you can own this book that gives you a very elaborate history plus the “secret” recipes of the cult of Tiki and Polynesian Pop. This book is no small feat for tiki lovers, wannabes and aficionados.
I can’t say that I’ve tried all the recipes in this book, but I’ve tried most of them and the technique, explanation, method and history is all one could ever ask for to be organized so well.
Author Martin Cate even dedicate a chapter to rum, which is pretty much the wild west of the distilled spirits world. Its produced in so many countries so many ways that unlike American Bourbon, it is difficult, no, impossible at best, to regulate.
This is required reading for any home or professional mixologist.
