Cool Bars
Saying that one place or another is the coolest bar or cocktail lounge in the world is very subjective. For me, here is my personal list. They are not all tiki, not all midcentury, but all the components seemed to click. The atmosphere, the cocktails, the music, the vibe.
- Tiger Bar (Nashville TN) 1930s Style Circus themed bar with incredible decor and the authentic 1930s music to match
- Polynesian (New York NY) Incredible bar located on the 3rd floor of a hotel with outdoor roof top, several different rooms, simply but atttractively decorated.
- Raine’s Law Room (New York NY) The location on 17th street is actually a step down from the street and much cooler than the midtown location
- Lee’s Hawaiian Islander (Lyndhurst NJ)
- Fox Bar (Nashville TN)
