Episode #2338 – Flamingo Cocktail

Episode #2338 [November 22, 2023] Was partially filmed in the Dutch Caribbean in Curaçao. Like most people, I love the Flamingos and was happy to see them out in the wild rather than a zoo or aviary. There were some fantastic drone shots with the DJI Mini 2 by new friends I met there from Germany (Hollkott Video). In order to fly a drone there you needed special paperwork and upload your passport and give all sorts of information like the serial number, etc. I didn’t want to deal with it so I just went with whatever equipment I can carry with me. But seeing these flamingos in the wild was my inspiration for the cocktail which comes from Rita’s Tiki Room in Milan. I always find it interesting when a country outside of the United States takes an approach to tiki, and if you look at their cocktails, it is very impressive. I am very impressed with the quality of the iPhone 15 Pro Max and started to use that over my professional equipment simply for the ease of use and portability. In fact, when I was in Curacao, I hardly used my GoPro except for some underwater shots. The iPhone 15 does a fine job. It has the stabilization, the sound, and the SHURE MV88+ has great sound.
