Episode #2452 – Eclipse Cocktail
This episode brings us the Solar Eclipse of 2024 along with a cocktail from NoMad in Manhattan which created a tequila and mezcal cocktail. In 1504 Christopher Columbus convinced that his God was angry with the natives because they would not provide him and his crew with food and provisions. As “proof” he told them that God would take away their moon and sun, knowing it was only a temporary eclipse. It worked!
ECLIPS (NoMad NYC 2021)
INGREDIENTS
- 1 ounce añejo tequila
- 3/4 ounce Aperol
- 3/4 ounce Cherry Heering
- 3/4 ounce fresh lemon juice
- 1/4 ounce mezcal float
Add all ingredients except the mexcal into a shaker with ice. Shake well, pour over large ice cube in a rocks glass, float 1/4 ounce mezcal on top.
