Maracaibo Madness
While I am not any fan of flavor-infused spirits of any kind, this one totally works in such a way, I could never re-create it with all-natural flavors (I tried, believe me). This comes together so well, its hard for anyone to not like it. It is a sweet drink, I tried it a few different ways. Stroh’s Jagerte is not easy to find, and if that is the case, just use a spiced rum, or even replace it with half and half of a coconut rum and a dark rum.
INGREDIENTS:
- 1/2 ounce fresh lime juice
- 1/2 ounce Don Q Pineapple Rum
- 1/2 ounce Blue Chair banana rum
- 1/2 ounce Gifford’s Passion Fruit Liqueur
- 1 ounce Stroh’s Jaegerte
- 1/2 ounce coconut cream (REAL)
- Dash of Angostura Bitters
OR:
- 1/2 ounce fresh lime juice
- 1/2 ounce Don Q Pineapple Rum
- 1/2 ounce Blue Chair banana rum
- 1/2 ounce Gifford’s Passion Fruit Liqueur
- 1/2 ounce Stroh’s Jagerte and/or 1/2 ounce Cruzan coconut rum
- 1/2 ounce coconut cream (REAL)
- Dash of Angostura Bitters
