Happy Hour #114 – Lover’s Lounge
Burt Bacharach (born May 12, 1928), died on February 8, 2023. When they announced it on the news I had no idea who he was. Once they started noting the songs and careers he was noted for, I was surprised to learn he was responsible for many of the songs I grew up listening to on the radio, and some of my all time favorite songs ever. While his songs were popular in the 1960s and 1970s, they remain very relevant today and over 1000 artists have recorded his songs. This is in no way a comprehensive list, but they are some of my favorites. You might know his name either, but you will know these songs.
